巴西專屬HB車系先聲，HYUNDAI HB20將於今年10月投產

位於南美洲的巴西於2011年總計售出較2010年同期增加3.36%的363萬輛新車，預料在連續五年締造汽車市場銷售新高紀錄之後，將順利超越日本及德國成為僅次於中國及美國的全球第三大汽車市場，也成為各大車廠的兵家相爭之地。而去年擠身全球第四大車廠的HYUNDAI同樣也早早就在巴西展開佈局，位於聖保羅Piracicaba的整車廠已在去年完工，HYUNDAI最近也針對南美市場發表了一款全新小型掀背車「HB20」的預告圖片，預計今年10月起將在Piracicaba廠區投產。

i20

「HB20」車名的HB來自HYUNDAI巴西（Brasil）的縮寫，20則是代表其以i20車型平台為基礎的身分。因此不意外的，HB20導入HYUNDAI全新家族設計風格，採用Fuluidic Scalpture流體雕塑設計理念，大六角造型加上線條元素的水箱護罩，整體看來更具流線運動氣息；不過HB20雖與i20同樣配置了鯊魚眼頭燈，然而霧燈造型卻未比照辦理，而是採用圓形設計；此外據HYUNDAI表示，HB20雖向i20取經，卻仍有著獨特的自我風格。

至於動力方面，HB20搭載1.0L及1.6L兩種排氣量的Flex Fuel引擎，可同時使用汽油與生質酒精作為燃料，標配手排變速系統，分別可輸出85hp及130hp的最大馬力，1.6L車型另可選配自排變速系統。HYUNDAI巴西表示，HB20掀背車將是專屬巴西車市之HB車系的首款車型，預計繼今年10月投產HB20之後，2013年還將再推出房車及SUV。

HYUNDAI於巴西聖保羅Piracicaba的整車廠自2010年開工、2011年竣工，預計能夠達到15萬輛的年產量，並且期望2013年在巴西車市可達到30萬輛的年銷售量，其中包含10萬輛進口車，藉此與同樣已進軍巴西的FIAT、VW、GM、FORD等汽車集團相互抗衡；值得一提的是，目前巴西政府已針對進口車款實施了高達30％的關稅，因此透過當地設廠，也能以較低的成本優勢搶佔當地汽車市場。
