相較於德系豪華雙雄BMW與M-BENZ，HYUNDAI旗下的豪華子品牌GENESIS可說是相當年輕的車廠，但隨著母品牌於全球車市中的猛烈攻勢，GENESIS也必須跟上腳步，以更加多元的商品目錄對抗德系車廠。因此，車廠也將首要目標放在這BMW的3系列，並以此推出了全新主力車款G70！
以整體風格而言，G70在定位上與BMW 3系列極其類似，該車除了特別強調操作手感外，外觀風也以運動、熱血為要基調。例如在車頭部分，新車也承繼了HYUNDAI的六角形水箱護罩以及銳利的車頭燈設計，車尾部分，該車更採用全LED配置，已使整體科技氛圍更為一致！
為了與其俐落、簡潔的外觀相符，內裝方面也採用相當簡約的設計風格，其中皮革座椅上的菱格型設計與細緻的車縫可說是大幅強化整體質感。車用科技方面，新車除了配置全彩液晶顯示螢幕外，更標配九具安全氣囊以及自動煞車等各項安全系統。
動力方面，新車根提供2.2L 渦輪柴油引擎，除了可發揮370hp最大馬力外與43.2kgm峰值扭力外，配合全新八速自排變速系統後，勢必能擁有更優秀的加速能力。根據前車廠的消息，G70將於本月於韓國市場率先登場，至為未來是否進軍其他市場，Autonet將為讀者持續追蹤！
