    想胎換骨就要用力挖角,現代汽車為副牌Genesis再挖角BMW工程師

邁向成功之路,想要減少奮鬥30年,一定要重金挖角。繼今年上半年現代汽車集團的KIA挖走前BMW設計師Pierre Leclercq,擔任設計總監之後,現代汽車最近再高薪挖走BMW機械工程的重要人物Fayez Abdul Rahman,到Genesis擔任結構開開發部門的副總裁,想藉此讓品牌體質有結檊結構性的提升,並放眼未來將和德國那些豪華品牌一爭長短。

根據現代汽車所說,他們此舉的主要目標是要提高Genesis車款的整體性能和品質。Rahman現年58歲,他曾經負責帶領BMW多款重量級車款的概念和平台開發的團隊,包 抍包括現在的7系列和X系列的各款休旅車,以及BMW M系列的高能車款。

這項人事任命,將讓Genesis的產品線,從現有的3台豪華房車,到2020年之前,增加到6台,另外還要開發豪華跨界休旅車。Fayez Abdul Rahman的到位之前,2014年,現代才為Genesis挖角BMW的M Performance性能副牌的負責人Albert Biermann,他在BMW的M Performance性能副牌,是Rahman的老闆,在現代集團, 他負責的是KIA和Genesis的性能車款的研發。

而在 BMW任職時, Rahman最後的工作主要是負責M品牌的配件與M Sports改裝套件與 BMW旗下各車型的個人化部件的開發設計。
