    零組件短缺、需求低迷影響,HYUNDAI Palisade、GENESIS GV80再度暫時停產

在市場潮流的影響下,SUV車型目前可說是許多汽車品牌的銷售主力,HYUNDAI集團也是如此,在跨界車與SUV的助攻之下,HYUNDAI集團去年曾出現2017年以來最佳的單季獲利,同時去年在美國688771輛的年度總銷量,也是自2012年以來的最佳成績,再加上GENESIS GV80接單情形相當踴躍,所以HYUNDAI集團本來對於今年的獲利率相當樂觀。不過COVID-19疫情爆發打碎了HYUNDAI集團的美夢,由於供應鏈持續無法完全恢復,加上市場需求遭受封鎖政策的打擊,HYUNDAI Palisade、GENESIS GV80這兩款SUV的產能至今仍無法穩定下來。

早在今年年初,COVID-19疫情仍限於中國時,HYUNDAI Palisade、GENESIS GV80兩款車型所使用的線束,就因為中國供應商停工而受到影響,而上周同樣在缺乏部分零組件的狀況下,HYUNDAI韓國蔚山廠專門生產Palisade與GENESIS GV80的兩條生產線再度宣告暫停運作。更麻煩的是目前HYUNDAI的零組件供應商在宣告自家員工死於COVID-19之後,HYUNDAI在韓國本土已經停止了兩座工廠中的三條生產線的運作,同時KIA旗下工廠也傳出有員工確診的情況下,整體情況可說是相當嚴峻。至於位於美國阿拉巴馬州的廠區,則是在5月4日重新啟動之後,以較低的產能來因應封鎖政策造成的庫存大增與市場需求低迷。

而今年第一季,HYUNDAI集團的全球總銷量就衰退了11%,而今年前五個月HYUNDAI全球總銷量衰退的幅度更是來到26%,再加上HYUNDAI Palisade、GENESIS GV80這兩款被視為搖錢樹的車型產能持續處於不穩定的狀態下,COVID-19可說是完全打碎了HYUNDAI集團在今年繼續創造出優異成績的可能性。
