超強的！現代汽車推出結合未來主義造型設計的ST1模組化廂式電動商用車可依各種任務變

幾年前，現代汽車（Hyundai）推出造型 非常未來、很像一艘星艦的MPV多功能轎式休旅Staria，果然帶來不錯的買氣，而本周四，現代汽車就發表以Staria為基礎而打造的電動輕型廂式貨車，不過它並不單單只是一台電動商用車，更準確地說，它是一個電動商用車平台ST1，一種PBV功能性載具（Purpose Built Vehicle），以一個模組化底盤，依不同商業任務而變身為不同的功能性載具，包括一般貨車冷鏈物流車等，它和KIA在今年初CES展中發表的PBV異曲同工。
現代的ST1，ST指的是Service Type，也就是服務類型，而數字 1代表它是這個平台第一個車型。它是專為迎合韓國的小型企業而開發的電動商用車平台，按現代汽車計劃，兢在開發完成ST1之後，它將有助加速商用車的全面電動化。
這台ST1的車頭造型和Staria有幾分相似，同樣是類似結合低風阻概念的子彈列車造型，車身下擺從前後保桿以至於車側，都採用厚實的防刮塑料飾板環艙包覆，車頭燈組的安裝位置非常低，而車頭上方的全寬輻式水平燈帶，則是日間行車燈。ST1車頭有著和現代電動跨界休旅Kona EV非常相似，充電口安裝在車頭前部，在看似小型進氣口的右側。現代汽車可能將前置攝影機放在保桿塗漆部分。
現代汽車表示，開發ST1的目的是透過降低車身行駛高度，讓車主更容易裝卸貨物。而雖然它看起來像一個帶著四個輪子的方盒子，但全車造型結合了空氣力學，包括座艙和後方貨物放置區都結合擾流的低風阻設計。現代汽車表示，他們將與韓國在地的快遞公司合作，讓ST1依他們的任務需具，而變身成為不同目的的工作車。
有關ST1的完整的細節和定價將在 2024 年上半年披露，然後 ST1 將在今年晚些時候進入韓國國內市場。現代汽車計劃在ST1在韓國上市之後再銷往其他海外市場。
