HYUNDAI鄭夢九會長獲選為全球最受尊敬企業家之一！

HYUNDAI汽車總裁鄭夢九和中國江蘇省書記李源潮出席東風悅達起亞的開工典禮。

根據世界最具權威的經濟日報英國的“金融時報”報導，這個權威的國際級財經專業媒體，將HYUNDAI鄭夢九會長選為第42位世界最受尊敬的企業家！
根據HYUNDAI表示，此次被選理由是鄭夢九會長的“品質經營”和“全球化擴大經營”戰略取得了成功，這是最近現代汽車飛速發展的原因所在。
HYUNDAI汽車有關人員表示，“此次鄭夢九會長入選世界最受尊敬的企業家50人，說明現代汽車已經成長為名副其實的世界企業”，同時還說明HYUNDAI汽車的品質及形象已被世界所認可，這對現代汽車今後的銷售增長有極大的幫助”。
2004年，現代汽車在其最大出口市場的美國，創下419，000輛的銷售記錄，比1998年的90，217輛增長了364%，總出口額去年為154萬輛，比1998年的62萬輛增長了149%。國內銷量2004年為55萬輛，比1998年的32萬輛增長了71%， 說明鄭夢九會長的品質經營和全球化擴大戰略取得了成功。
同時，在1998年進入印度市場以來，市場佔有率保持18%，在進口企業中名列第一，在所有汽車生產企業中繼印度企業MARUTI以後位居第二。尤其是2002年12月第一次進入中國市場以來，現代汽車在競爭最激烈的中國市場，2005年第一季度銷量創下中國國內汽車生產企業之最。不僅如此，在中國汽車生產企業中，創下生產10萬輛、20萬輛汽車所需時間最短的紀錄。
HYUNDAI汽車今年的銷售目標為240萬輛，比去年增長15%，銷售額為2944億元人民幣，比去年同期增長12.3%，去年9月27日，英國金融時報對現代汽車進行過詳細報導，認為現代汽車因為鄭會長的經營能力，已經成長為“世界汽車業的強烈競爭對手”。
此次金融時報是以全世界25個國家的企業高級管理人員、基金管理人員，非政府機構有關人員，媒體人士等1千多人為調查對象進行調查的，金融日報每年進行這樣的調查並發表結果。
2000年10月HYUNDAI現代汽車會長鄭夢九首次入選【美國汽車名人堂】，2001年3月再以其出色的經營長才，帶領現代汽車榮獲美國汽車名人堂授予被譽為汽車工業諾貝爾獎的『年度汽車工業貢獻獎DSC』，在360名歷屆獲獎者中，HYUNDAI現代汽車會長鄭夢九是第二位獲此殊榮的亞洲人。
