滿足當地消費者需求，HYUNDAI集團預計2013年底翻倍土耳其產能

70年代以來，各大車廠就紛紛前往土耳其設立組裝廠，並且帶動當地的汽車市場的發展。其中尤以1997年便進軍土耳其的HYUNDAI集團經營有成，除了在該國積極建立整車廠生產新車外，也在2009年成為當地市佔率最高的汽車品牌；為了進一步在土耳其深耕，HYUNDAI集團最近宣佈，預計2013年底前要讓目前土耳其Hyundai Assan Otomotiv Sanayi（HAOS）工廠的10萬輛年產量倍增，擴張至20萬輛的規模。

HYUNDAI集團表示，由於土耳其及歐洲地區的A-Segment及B-Segment級距產品需求越來越高，因此計畫將在未來18個月內投資607萬美元（約新台幣1.8億元）擴增當地HAOS工廠的產能，不僅預計2013年底增加產能至20萬輛，也將為供應商及工廠分別創造750個及2400個工作機會。
此外，除了自2010年起便在土耳其HAOS工廠生產的i20，HYUNDAI集團從2013年底也將開始在HAOS工廠生產A-Segmen的都會小車i10。HYUNDAI集團指出，到2012年為止，HYUNDAI已在土耳其發展15年，總產量超過70萬輛，為土耳其的經濟發展作出卓越貢獻，希望藉由產能的擴充，滿足歐洲地區及土耳其消費者的需求。
