雖然身為金磚四國之一，也是四國中工業基礎最為深厚的一國，但是在蘇聯解體重新導入市場經濟之後，俄羅斯的汽車市場，雖然許多全球集團想要進軍，不過HYUNDAI集團表現卻相當亮麗！
根據俄羅斯官方的統計，2005年HYUNDAI品牌總共就在當地銷售達87457輛新車，其中45417輛為現地生產的車款，比2004年更成長達到77%，而進口車款則銷售達42040輛，也比2004年成長達到七成！
其中在俄羅斯賣得最好的HYUNDAI車款，當屬現地生產的Accnet，總共在去年賣出32741輛，而進口的Sonata也賣出10890輛（包含NF與EF車系），另外在國內也相當暢銷的Getz，俄羅斯去年也賣出15178輛，而進口與國產並行的Elantra車系，總共賣出11704輛，而新型態的CUV休閒越野車Tucson也賣出了5720輛，可以看出HYUNDAI汽車物廉價美的特性，相當受到俄羅斯民眾的青睞，難怪俄羅斯過去的國營車廠，一間連著一間關，想要存活下來的，幾乎都要跟韓國車廠合資造車！
