產品一向具有RV休閒氣息的現代汽車,在周休二日風氣逐漸盛行下,成為消費大眾購車的主要品牌,尤其是當年以一首「How do you do…」輕快的旋律,以及冠以「轎旅車」新名詞,擁有轎車的舒適駕馭感與RV休旅車靈活空間運用的新品種轎旅車-現代Matrix,並在義大利設計大師賓尼法利納的品味時尚設計加持下,頓時擄獲了不少的消費大眾青睞,成功創造車輛跨界多功能及品味時尚的新世代。
幾年後,現代汽車Matrix在基礎的轎旅特性不變下,外觀小幅的改款以及內裝空間由黑色色調大幅改變成為米色全車內裝,春夏氣息表露無疑,強調整個心情全面翻新,更加強了車輛在賓尼法利納大師設計理念下的品味時尚感,車輛已不再是一個代步的載具,而是一種藝術時尚的表現。
2007第三季,現代汽車更推出「Matrix雙采特仕版」,不僅將單米色的方向盤改變成為雙色系,別有不一樣的視覺外,更把原本黑色的車頂行李架改款成為鋁質色調車頂行李架,讓整輛車的視覺著實時尚起來,不只如此,凡於2007年9月底之前訂購現代汽車Matrix,交車者即送GUCCI時尚側背包,當Matrix遇上GUCCI時,RV從此時尚亮眼。
