集團化的競爭，展現在產品研發發揮綜效的層面上，利用共同平台分別開發屬於自身品牌特性的新車，已經成為車壇當下的主流思維。

HYUNDAI Azera
|
儘管同集團的HYUNDAI品牌已經成功研製出進軍全球高級房車市場推出的後驅房車 Genesis，這可不代表集團將放棄平價大車級距，相反的目前HYUNDAI-KIA兩大品牌正加速旗下Azera-Opirus全新世代大型前驅房車的研發進度。
根據最新外電消息指出，這兩大韓系品牌的大型房車，已經在各地進行耐久與嚴苛環境的動態測試，預計不久之後將可能在近期宣布新車發售的計畫，以及後續的相關訊息。
根據我們率先取得的消息顯示，這款全新世代的KIA Opirus後繼大型前驅房車，在產品設計方面將延續最近推出新車包括KIA Forte與Optima等車款率先導入的家族風格車頭造型，此外HYUNDAI-KIA集團更表示新車將搭載全新研發的中大型乘用車款專屬FF前驅平台，以提升行車品質與穩定性為終極目標。
此外，新車預計動力系統最多將提供約四種搭配，包括入門車款的2.4升Theta系列汽油直四引擎，另外還有Mu系列汽油2.7升V6引擎，另外還有集團稱為Lambda系列的3.3升與3.8汽油V6引擎等等選擇。
