2008廣州車展搶先報： 北京現代HYUNDAI i30國產化車型即將發表！

雖然在今年四月份舉行的2008北京國際車展上，HYUNDAI在中國最重要的合資車廠「北京現代」發售了全新國產化「伊蘭特•悅動」中型房車，而且更喊出口號叫戰TOYOTA Corolla Altis中國版「一汽豐田卡羅拉」，不過在接下來即將於11月開幕的2008廣州國際車展上，北京現代更將發表重量級的國產化新車。
根據最新消息指出，韓國HYUNDAI為了進一步提升北京現代汽車在國產化乘用車級距可以提升市場佔有率，早在已經在歐洲與韓國市場發售的HYUNDAI i30掀背車款，也將在這場即將開幕的2008廣州國際車展上發表國產化新車，讓過去幾乎缺席的中型掀背房車級距可以擁有一款重量級的戰將。
其實這款與現行國產化伊蘭特悅動共用HYUNDAI新一代中型乘用車平台的新世代歐規掀背車款HYUNDAI i30，已經導入了全新家族設計風格，而且新車推出之後更受到各界注目，在當地汽車消費客層愈來愈注重個性化的用車形態的風潮下，預計這款國產化全新掀背新車推出，也將引起當地競爭業者的根進。
此外，北京現代目前已經積極準備好國產化HYUNDAI i30新車的相關作業，預計原型新車將在廣州車展現場亮相，而可能提供的動力系統，入門車款將搭載排氣量為1.4升的新世代汽油直列四缸可變氣門引擎，最大馬力為109hp，另外還有排氣量為1.6升版本與2.0升的143hp頂級動力旗艦，不過依照過去的案例看來，北京現在相當可能在頂級車款上，提供全新的運動版本，並且增列包括全車空力套件與大尺碼鍛造鋁圈等組合。
