HYUNDAI與Bill Plant簽約，提供600輛訓練用i30

HYUNDAI日前與英國的專業駕訓學校Bill Plant正式簽約，繼去年提供400輛i20之後，今年將繼續且加碼提供600輛近日才被英國最具影響力的汽車雜誌「Auto Express」調查評為「2010英國消費者滿意度最高」的i30，作為該校教育訓練用途。
Bill Plant總經理Jake Plant對總金額高達約700萬英鎊(約合新台幣3.3億)的合約十分滿意的表示：「無論是對教員和學員來說，這都是一輛好車！」他另外補充：「駕訓學校並不適合使用太小的都會型車款作為訓練用車，所以i30這樣的掀背車對我們來說正是及時雨！而且i30所具有的安全配備非常完整，例如可在遭到追撞時防止頸部扭傷的主動式頭枕、雙前座防護氣囊、兩側氣簾、安全帶警示系統與ESP行車動態穩定系統等都可以幫助初學者穩定緊張的心情。
特別值得一提的是，HYUNDAI從這個月開始將陸續把搭載柴油引擎與對節能減碳頗有幫助stop-start系統的i30交付Bill Plant，預計未來在燃料費的支出將會節省許多。HYUNDAI英國業務主任Guy Pigounakis說：「HYUNDAI去年提供了Bill Plant超過500輛i20，相信今年雙方合作的也會很愉快！」
台灣的駕訓班長期以來最為人詬病的就是常常培養出不敢實際上路的駕駛，畢竟真實道路無法像考試背口訣「後照鏡看到線時，方向盤向左打兩圈。」這種公式教學法；而且駕訓用車也常常過於老舊，遑論培養出能善用新式配備的駕駛。他山之石可以攻錯，希望有朝一日國內也能出現如Bill Plant與HYUNDAI合作的案例！
