日本的震災及海嘯，除帶來對東日本的巨大損壞之外，同時也震出了全球車市的斷鏈效應。遍及全球的日系車，車輛零件最大的供應地區就是在這一次震災最嚴重的東日夲，讓全球日系品牌銷量頓時腰斬。雖然部份日系車商宣稱已供貨正常，但是供量是否充裕卻仍屬未知數。
除了日系品牌外，其他車商皆受益居多，德系車商加上奢侈稅的緣故，在4月份交出了非常漂亮的成績；此外，韓系品牌在本次也受益不少，現代汽車國產車市佔達6.6%擠下了馬自達及納智捷，超越以往的市佔率排名第六。據總代理南陽實業表示，先前大受好評的年度風雲車ix35及王者旗艦SANTA FE eVGT在零件供應較穩定後，訂交比例漸恢復正常。在4月份現代汽車傳出捷報後，南陽表示5月將再祭出更大的回饋專案，並啟動夏季銷售競賽。凡五月底前交車，ix35全車系享有50萬的零利率優惠，還贈送專用行李箱隔板(價值8,000元)；時尚掀背車HYUNDAI i30也不遑多讓，也祭出了50萬40期零利率，並且送i30專屬行李袋組，同時也推出「i酷炫」及「i享樂」兩款特仕車提供消費者多樣選擇。
除此之外，為回饋喜愛HYUNDAI的消費者，自5月1日起至7月底止，凡南陽銷售的現代國產車，除原先「三大保證」外，再加碼六大系統五年不限里程保固，是目前國產車史上最大的保證方案(詳情請上南陽實業官方網站：http://www.hyundai-motor.com.tw )。讓喜愛HYUNDAI的準車主們擁有更佳的服務及保證。
