HYUNDAI也要進軍超跑？5.0L V8心臟具430hp實力

雖已有Genesis Coupe但HYUNDAI仍不滿足

先前傳聞HYUNDAI有意進軍F1的消息似乎不是空穴來風，因為據AutoNet汽車日報從韓國得到的獨家消息，HYUNDAI不僅默默進行F1計畫，甚至還要推出足以和PORSCHE 911、NISSAN GT-R等相抗衡的超級跑車，時間點目前還不明確，推估最快在2012年中之後將有更進一步消息。

近年來在全球宛如風暴般橫掃市場的韓國HYUNDAI，在i神話與流體雕塑聯手下創造佳績，甚至重新改變眾人對HYUNDAI的看法，然而HYUNDAI對此卻不滿足，為了趁勝追擊，將推出高性能的超級跑車，希望藉此擠身國際車壇。
雖然現階段HYUNDAI旗下以Genesis Coupe（210-306hp）對應NISSAN 370Z、INFINITI G37 Coupe、MAZDA RX-8等日系車款，以及美系FORD Mustang、CHEVROLET Camaro，但野心勃勃的HYUNDAI卻不以此滿足，畢竟上頭還有NISSAN GT-R、PORSCHE 911、LEXUS LAF等超級跑車，因此HYUNDAI啟動自行設計開發的超跑計畫，試圖提升品牌形象，並讓韓國汽車工業在全球佔有一席之地。
根據HYUNDAI的計畫顯示，自行開發的超跑搭載5.0L V6心臟，採用中置引擎設計，最大馬力從430hp起跳，推估應有450hp的實力，售價約美金8-10萬元，折合新台幣約240-300萬元，這般如此誘人的條件實在令人難以抗拒，此一消息曝光即刻引起不少討論。倘若HYUNDAI真推出超級跑車，相信這幾年所累積的口碑應可獲得消費者認同，至於誰會緊張？當然就是日本和美國車廠了！
