根據營運總部位於新德里的HYUNDAI印度分公司發佈的最新外電消息顯示，全新2010 年式的升級版HYUNDAI Sonata Transform新車，日前在當地舉行的新車發表會中，正式宣布進軍當地中大型房車市場。

Sonata Transform小改款升級版在車尾造型的變動幅度較小。

根據HYUNDAI自動車印度分公司（HMIL- Hyundai Motor India Ltd）表示，這款全新的2010年式Sonata Transform中大型豪華房車，在整體產品競爭條件與配備等級方面，與2009年式車系相比都有長足的進步與提升，其中2010年式車系中的汽油2.0L動力系統，在引擎效率與運作效能方面都有明顯的提升。

改款後車頭造型較為厚實。

此外，HYUNDAI自動車印度分公司表示全新2010年式Sonata Transform中大型豪華房車車系，基本售價由138.5萬盧比起跳，約合新台幣93.73萬元左右，新車售價與2009年式車系相比幾乎沒有漲價，這也將讓新車具備更為優異的產品性價比。

動力系統方面，2010年式的HYUNDAI Sonata Transform車系，與北京現代領翔相同，同樣提供Theta系列升級版汽油2.0升與2.4升汽油直列四缸引擎，兩者均配置CVVTCVVT可變氣門正時裝置，其中入門款式的2.0升引擎，最大馬力為165hp/6200rpm，峰值扭力為20kgm/4600rpm，提供五速手排或四速自排變速系統；頂級車款搭載的2.4升汽油直四引擎，最大馬力為174hp/6000rpm，峰值扭力為23.1kgm/4000rpm，全數搭配五速手自排兩用變速系統。
