「流」進北美，2011年式全新HYUNDAI Sonata登場

第六代大改款HYUNDAI Sonata於2009年九月份在韓國發表，意味著此全新中型房車將以HYUNDAI全新設計語彙流體雕刻（fluidic sculpture），大膽挑戰全球房車市場。近日，全新2011年式Sonata在美國發表，車系區分為GLS、SE與Limited共三大等級八款車型，報價介於19,195美元（約折合新台幣61.5萬元）至27,395美元（約折合新台幣87.7萬元）之間。
HYUNDAI從2005年開始決定開發原廠代號YF的全新Sonata，歷時四年、耗資3.7億美元，終於將夢想化為實際，全新Sonata變得更為年輕動感，美規車型動力源自2.4L GDI I4缸內直噴汽油引擎，可輸出最大馬力198hp或200hp，更讓全新Sonata享有14.8km/L油耗表現，傲視等HONDA Accord、TOYOTA Camry、NISSAN Altima、CHEVROLET Malibu與FORD Fusion等美規同級車款。
在車用配備部份，全新Sonata標配XM Satellite衛星廣播系統、Bluetooth無線藍牙通訊裝置、HD數位廣播裝置、前座/後座加溫座椅等高級配備，更成為美規同級車型當中，首度將觸控式衛星導航系統列入各等級選配的美規中型房車。
在車用安全配備部份，全新Sonata也將ESC（Electronic Stability Control）車身電子穩定控制系統、全車六具防護氣囊列為標準配備，其它安全配備則包括TCS（Traction Control System）循跡控制系統、ABS（Antilock Braking System）防鎖煞車系統、EBD（Electronic Brake-force Distribution）電子煞車力分配系統與TPMS（Tire Pressure Monitoring System）胎壓偵測系統等。
