    2010紐約車展報導:2011年式HYUNDAI Equus夏天挑戰豪華房車市場

融合動感與豪華特質之全新科技旗艦房車2011年式HYUNDAI Equus在2010年紐約車展進行北美首演,原廠宣佈Equus預估價格將從5萬美元起跳,直接挑戰LEXUS LS460、M-BENZ S550與AUDI A8等同級對手,夏天就會上市。

Equus採用Genesis後驅底盤平台而生,證明HYUNDAI充分掌握製造豪華旗艦的科技能力,動力源自榮獲2009年全球十大引擎風雲獎之4.6L V8汽油引擎,可輸出最大馬力385hp與最大扭力44.8kgm,搭配六速自動變速系統,創造8.8km/L之優異油耗表現。

Equus被稱為科技旗艦房車,搭載可讓乘駕表現均衡進化之氣壓電子懸吊系統、CDC阻尼可變控制系統,可讓行車照明無死角與日夜分別的AFS主動式轉向頭燈,再加上EPB電子駐煞車系統、VSC車輛穩定控制系統、LDWS車道偏離警示系統、Pre-Safety預防安全系統、第三代SSC智慧型巡航控制系統,以及全車最多九具防護氣囊,提供HYUNDAI車款前所未見之高度安全表現。

Equus採用2+2四門四人座椅配置,後座乘客可透過專屬中控台,直接控制獨立空調系統與音響系統。此外,前座中控台上具備大型LCD液晶顯示螢幕,卻沒有許多的按鈕設計,因為許多操作功能已被多功能方向盤所取代。

Equus更導入綜合BMW i-Drive與M-BENZ Commannd APS的多功能操作旋鈕/控制系統,提供XM衛星廣播系統、HD廣播科技、Bluetooth無線藍牙通訊等功能。在配備部份,Equus更導入LEXICON高級音響系統,尊榮乘座體驗。
