若以合資對象來分，早於2009年中國新車銷售數據公布之後，很明顯地，HYUNDAI-KIA集團已經成為德國VW與美國GM集團之外，在當地市場最受歡迎而且產品最暢銷的外資合資體系！
根據最新消息指出，日前HYUNDAI集團率先公布其四月份新車市場銷售數據，其中全球集團單月銷售數量達到31萬輛，比去年同期還要提升達27.6％的幅度，而HYUNDAI-KIA合資體系在中國境內生產的新車，在今年四月份共銷售新車達83515輛新車。
這樣讓中國正式成為HYUNDAI-KIA集團在韓國本土之外，規模與數量最大的海外汽車市場，其銷售量已經正式超越包括歐洲與美洲市場。
另外，HYUNDAI在中國最大的合資體系「北京現代」，日前宣布剛剛在上月初正式於當地發售的中國國產化HYUNDAI ix35跨界休旅新車，截至月底前新車銷售數量已經超過4399輛，而且另外一個合資體系「東風悅達起亞」，今年前四個月在中國市場上新車銷售數量更比去年同期增加超過一倍。
