新里程碑？HYUNDAI集團美國整車銷量累計破千萬輛！

根據最新出爐的統計數據顯示，在進軍美國汽車市場1/4世紀以來，韓國最大汽車廠HYUNDAI集團，累積已經在當地汽車市場銷售新車達到一千萬輛，這對於近年來發展相當迅速的HYUNDAI與KIA二大汽車品牌來說可謂意義非凡。

這項紀錄已經讓HYUNDAI集團成為僅次於TOYOTA、HONDA與NISSAN集團等第四家在美國境內累積銷售新車破千萬的海外車廠，其中TOYOTA集團1957年進軍美國汽車市場，第一千萬輛在美國汽車市場銷售新車在1987年出現，而HONDA於1970年正式進軍美國汽車市場，累積銷售第一千萬輛新車在1994年出現。

此外今年二月份HYUNDAI集團在美國境內銷售新車達76339輛，累積自從進軍美國市場以來已經達成銷售新車10015725輛，而時間拉回25年前的1986年，HYUNDAI以Pony平價小車首度進軍美國汽車市場，而且第一年就累積銷售新車達17萬輛，但後來因為品質問題，在1998年美國境內新車年度銷售下跌至九萬輛左右，但針對品管進行嚴格的控館之後，在2002年率先推出十年16萬公里的新車保固條件後，逐步建立起平價高品質的品牌形象，加上每一代新車推出後也快速在各領域表現進步神速，之後每每創下銷售新高級路，2010年HYUNDAI首度於一年以內在美國市場銷售新車超過50萬輛，而且也讓HYUNDAI集團的新車市場佔有率，由2001年的3.3%提升至2010年的7.7%，在十年內提升超過一倍。
