HYUNDAI投資越南建引擎基地，供應全球大量需求

已經擠身成為全球第五大車廠之列的韓國HYUNDAI，近年來展現驚人攻勢，不僅推出許多叫又叫座的車款，更讓日歐美系車廠感到壓力，當然熱銷的結果卻讓消費者購車必須耐心等候，因為引擎供應不及嚴重影響HYUNDAI交車，因此HYUNDAI於日前和越南THACO將合作公司，興建年產能10萬具的引擎生產廠。

2007年越南Truong Hai集團與韓國KIA雙方展開合作，共同成立THACO KIA在Quang Nam省設廠當地進行生產，這也是HYUNDAI在越南首度大型汽車投資案，4年後HYUNDAI與THACO再度合作，雙方利用這個位於Chu Lai自由經貿區的THACO KIA組裝廠作擴建，將既有年產能2.5萬具引擎廠提升到10萬具規模，因此總投資金額新台幣49.6億元的引擎廠案，HYUNDAI佔比51﹪，THACO為49﹪，預計2012年底可正式啟動。

當然10萬具引擎光越南市場是吃不下，畢竟新車市場銷售規模不大，因此也將供應到中國等其他市場需求。此外或許有人質疑越南的組裝品質，但以全球共工的趨勢，且HYUNDAI有意朝世界第一之路前進，肯定會在品質上作嚴格控管。

其實HYUNDAI之所以願意在越南進行投資，主要是Quang Nam省政府提出不少優惠政策，如投資優惠投資期限為70年、投資計畫期內用地20公頃的租金為1美元、30年企業營所稅率為10%、自獲利起免徵10年企業營所稅及後續9年減半之優惠、個人所得稅適用50%減免、出口至少為70%的產品時可享加工外銷廠商型態優惠、免徵越南國內未能生產進口原料/物資/半成品關稅等，如此誘人的利多實在很難拒絕。相較之下中國已經沒有這般優惠，也難怪許多廠商紛紛出走。
