    2012底特律車展報導:T-GDI渦輪動力上身,HYUNDAI Veloster Turbo登場

先前AutoNet汽車日報曾報導過,HYUNDAI最新開發的Gamma 1.6 T-GDI直四渦輪增壓汽油引擎,將導入旗下最新發表的平價跑車Veloster之上,而在HYUNDAI於去年10月間在自家的HYUNDAI-KIA技術研發中心所舉辦的動力系統研討會中,發表了這具以小排量創造高性能的全新動力系統,並在剛揭幕的2012年底特律車展中,正式發表搭載新動力的Veloster嗆辣小鋼砲。

這款Veloster Turbo所搭載的Gamma 1.6 T-GDI直四渦輪增壓汽油引擎,在導入了雙渦流增壓、缸內直噴、雙CVVT可變氣門正時等技術之後,讓動力輸出達到了204hp/6000rpm最大馬力與27.0kgm/1750rpm峰值扭力,並可選擇搭配六速手排或六速自排變速箱。而這全新引擎也是HUYNDAI Blue Drive計畫成果之一,最大的特色在於低轉速時能夠確實減低耗油、並進一步減少排放量,有著市區約11.42km/L、高速16.07km/L的油耗表現,並已通過嚴苛的加州ULEV-2與歐盟Euro5排放法規。

而為了與一般車型做出區隔,這款Veloster Turbo在原先就頗為誇張的外觀造型方面,再加上全套空力套件:包括LED晝行燈、大開口前氣壩,前下擾流、側裙、後下分流器與圓形中置雙出不鏽鋼排氣尾管;車室內則以黑/灰色為主要鋪陳,搭配報復性更為優異的跑車座椅與白色車縫線點綴。至於在底盤懸吊方面,原先採用的前麥花臣、後CTBA拖曳臂配置也經過強化、搭配18吋配胎,以因應更為強悍的動力輸出、並確保擁有水準以上的操控性能。

此外,Veloster Turbo的車重也控制在1270kg,較VW Golf GTI輕了約100kg左右,儘管原有的DCT雙離合器自手排變速箱無法承受太過充沛的扭力輸出、因而遭到割愛,Veloster Turbo仍有著優異的馬力/車重比,性能表現不容小覷。
