    2012 SEMA改裝車展搶先報:絕非視覺系!HYUNDAI Veloster馬力直上400hp

在2007年韓國首爾車展以HND-3 Veloster概念車首度亮相,並在2011年正式登場的HYUNDAI Veloster,除了擁有HYUNDAI最新的「流體雕塑」設計概念,加上其特殊的2+1車門設計,吸睛度可說是百分百,但在動力上,由於一般車型似乎無法滿足車迷,所以原廠更在今年年初推出換上最新Gamma 1.6 T-GDI直四渦輪增壓汽油引擎的Veloster Turbo;而在即將展開的SEMA改裝車展當中,HYUNDAI則是預計推出一款更嗆辣的Veloster。


HYUNDAI原廠表示,這輛重度改裝的Veloster將會被賦予另一個名字─Velocity,主要是由HYUNDAI美國加州科技中心的設計工程部們操刀,但其所搭載的1.6L直四缸內直噴渦輪增壓引擎,卻是交由英國知名的引擎製造廠Coswroth進行重新調校,藉由活塞、連桿、渦輪增壓器、中央冷卻器以及進氣歧管等部分的改裝之後,讓這輛Veloster的最大動力輸出從原先的201hp/26.9kgm,一口氣飆升到400hp/35.7kgm。

另外原廠也針對這輛Veloster的底盤部分進行調校,包括換上全新的懸吊系統,搭配包含四活塞煞車卡鉗的BREMBO高性能煞車套件、HRE 19吋輕量化鋁圈以及275/35R19高性能夏季配胎;至於外觀方面自然也相當有殺氣,除了採用寬體化處理之外,更配備大型尾翼以及下導流板。

而在這本屆SEMA改裝車展當中,HUYNDAI這款Veloster已經是第三款作品,日前也已經先後發表了與韓國知名改裝車廠ARK Performance合作的Genesis Coupe R-Spec賽道版以及富涵賽事基因的COSWORTH Genesis Racing Series Concept概念車,未來還有沒有更引人注目的改裝作品,本報也將會繼續關注。
