現代2023年式Ioniq 5 N高性能純電動休旅將具備模擬換檔功能，還有模仿限制轉速的音效

現代汽車（Hyundai）旗下的純電動休旅Ioniq 5，在全球各市場無不熱銷，同時也贏得一致的好評，在許多市場已贏得年度風雲車和年度最佳車款的頭銜，而接下來，比照內燃機車款，現代性能副品牌N Performance也將打造Ioniq 5的高性能版Ioniq 5 N，以吸引年輕世代買家，先前Ioniq 5 N原廠已做了多次的預告，最近該車款帶著偽裝的影像，也出現在現代品牌的一部形象影片中，據悉它在明年上半年發表，而最新消息指稱，Ioniq 5 N不只有更大強大的動能和多幾強悍的外觀，更重要的是它還有模擬汽柴油車款的音效，以及換檔的感覺。
雖然純電動車的時代已近，電動車的銷售比重也逐步擴大中，但是顯然還有許多人仍沒有辦法擺脫內燃機車款的加速快感與駕馭樂趣，因此，福斯ID電動車家族，各車款逐一追加GTX性能車型，而現代汽車N Performance品牌也將打造高性能電動車款。為現代汽車進行機械大改造的前BMW的M性能品牌擔任總工程師的Albert Biermann，在現代集團一手催生N Performance副品牌，Albert Biermann近日在接受外媒CarExpert專訪時，透露了Ioniq 5 N，將會具備和N內燃機動力性能車一樣有換檔的震動感，還有有非常接近i30 N 掀背車DCT雙離合器變速箱的換檔感覺。
據悉，Ioniq 5 N將配具備一種稱之為 Virtual Grin Shift (VGN) 的換檔功能，即虛擬式快速換檔，可透過方向盤上的一個按鍵按下啟動，然後駕駛者必須拉動兩個撥片以來打啟動虛擬換檔模式 ，進行模擬式的手排換檔。VGN模擬換還有會有N Sound Plus音效功能來補強，像是引擎限速時的聲響，它能模擬玩家們期待的汽油動力的N性能車所發出的各種噪音。未來透過車內的OTA線上更新，還有再追加更多額外的模擬引擎噪音。
現代汽車目前已在微調其他一些人造的噪音，包括彈射起步時的聲音，還計畫讓它的煞車動能回收系統製造出更強烈的煞車聲響。
至於Ioniq 5 N最重要的能動能技術規格，Albert Biermann 透露 Ioniq 5 N 的最大輸出功率將在 600匹馬力左右。但他並未透露扭力的數據，不過它的兄弟車KIA EV6 GT扭峰值為740Nm，時速0到100公里加速3.5秒可完成，極速260公里／小時。而Ioniq 5 N的性能表現應該會超越KIA EV6 GT的這些數據。
