HYUNDAI Santa Fe中國版將由江淮汽車生產！

由於現代汽車在中國大陸目前擁有北京汽車與江淮汽車兩大合作伙伴，另外在北方更與北汽集團其下的華泰汽車合作生產Teracan，現代集團為了要提升HYUNDAI旗下車款在中國大陸休旅車市場的佔有率，並且提早在都會型運動休旅車級距卡位，最近決定將與南方的江淮汽車合作，導入Santa Fe車款現地生產！
目前HYUNDAI Santa Fe是以整車進口的方式在當地銷售，因為中國大陸的高額進口關稅，頂級的2.7升四驅車款，報價達到32萬元人民幣，在性價比方面難以與當地國產品相抗衡，另外由江淮生產的HYUNDAI Starex中國版瑞風，不僅在今年元月與二月連續打敗廣本奧得賽與上海通用別克GL8，成為全中國最暢銷的頂級休旅車型，也加強了現代利用江淮車廠建立當地休旅車家族！
由於Santa Fe這輛SUV當初是由現代集團位於加州的北美設計中心所操刀，當時推出之後因為尺碼與車格定位較CR-V與RAV4等車更高，並且以性價比極高的條件不但叫好又叫座，現代集團也希望藉由在中國量產可以提升HYUNDAI品牌SUV的產品陣容；根據現代集團與江淮汽車的合作備忘錄，最快在明年江淮所生產的中國版桑塔菲，將正式下線並且進行市場投放，當地車壇人士與觀察家認為，將來國產化後的HYUNDAI Santa Fe，市場投放的售價將低於28萬人民幣，而且2.7升的動力條件加上更大的空間，必定將針對當地國產CR-V、奧藍德等車形成強大的威脅！
