    瞄準Prius!HYUNDAI聯手LG進軍雙動力領域!

最近幾年,雙動力Hybrid被豐田與本田吵地沸沸揚揚,似乎全球車壇都已經被Hybrid的魔力給吸引住囉!




HYUNDAI Accent
根據最新消息,除了豐田與本田兩大雙動力巨擘(許多車廠的Hybrid都與他們合作!)之外,韓國最大的HYUNDAI汽車集團,日前已經與同樣是韓國的LG集團,正式合作為打造韓國首輛量產Hybrid汽車而努力!

HYUNDAI將計畫以新一代Accent車系打造的量產化Hybrid汽車,將採用LG Chem公司所開發的雙動力整合系統,這家公司也將製造新一代的鋰錳電池,供應量產的Accnet Hybrid使用,雙方並且積極與美國的USABC電力能源研究機構(United States Advanced Battery Consortium)合作。

事實上,由LG Chem所研發的鋰錳電池,曾經在2002年創下美國Pikes Peak爬山賽的紀錄,當時搭載LG Chem電力系統的賽車,還以15分鐘18.64秒的成績抵達山頂的佳績1999年由本田所創下的紀錄,由此可知現代集團攜手LG進軍全球雙動力車市場的時間已經不遠了,而且Accent Hybrid量產後當然就以豐田Prius為首要對手!
