RMR注入甩尾靈魂，HYUNDAI Genesis Coupe備戰完成！

為了替2010年式的Genesis coupe製造話題，HYUNDAI日前與北美的賽車工程團隊Rhys Millen Racing（RMR）、機能飲料品牌Red Bull共同聯名發表了一款甩尾競技版的Genesis coupe，並且排定了將在2009年參與三種不同的賽事，藉以展現其硬底特質。
三個比賽分別為：北美科羅拉多舉行的Pikes Peak International Hill Climb爬坡賽、Formula Drift ；由RMR進行甩尾車的改裝工程，由底盤開始從新進行車體的打造，並且為了達到1088kg的輕量化目標，RMR將引擎蓋、大包、車頂、車門、保桿與側裙等部位以碳纖維取代原有材質，並且將原本2+2的車室空間配置改成八接點式防滾籠設計，搭配防火牆與單Sparco賽車座椅，完全競技化。
而動力部份，RMR將Genesis Coupe 的Lambda 3.8L V6引擎提升為4.1L，並且在Turbonetics渦輪增壓系統的增效之下，最大馬力由306hp提升為550hp，峰質扭力為71.89kgm，再配上HKS自動變速箱、競技化懸吊與鉻鉬鋼防傾桿等提升，這輛Genesis coupe工廠賽車已完成接戰準備。
