HYUNDAI Sonata車系全球累積銷售破500萬輛！

過去大家對於韓國HYUNDAI的印象在於廉價，但這幾年HYUNDAI的努力可是有口碑，不僅趁著TOYOTA召回事件加速衝刺，全球車廠排名從第五爬到第四、全球合併營收達2.46兆台幣，且近日更宣佈旗下當家中型房車Sonata車系在今年五月全球累積銷量已達500萬輛！
Sonata是HYUNDAI旗下繼Accent和Elantra兩車款之後第三種達到此里程碑的車款。Sonata早在1994年全球累積銷量就達到100萬輛，之後花了13年在2007年時突破到400萬輛，然後進入趕進度的階段，花了不到三年就又增加100萬輛的銷售成績達到這傲人的里程碑。
HYUNDAI執行長Steve S.Yang表示：「Sonata是南韓第一名的中型房車，我們期望在未來會成為世界第一。」Sonata光是在南韓就售出270萬輛，而美國是海外最捧場的市場總共買單了130萬輛Sonata，佔Sonata海外總銷量的三分之二。
如果把500萬輛Sonata排成一排，長度相當從首爾到紐約的來回距離；而如果把五百萬輛Sonata全部堆起來，高度則相當於世界第一高峰喜馬拉雅山的八百倍，由此可見這項成績多麼驚人！
2009年推出的YF Sonata擁有流線的外型設計與性能優異的2.4L缸內直噴引擎，推出以來市場好評不斷，並獲得USA Today、Cars.com、MotorWeek評選為2.5萬美元售價等級的最佳房車，難怪有此銷售佳績。
HYUNDAI表示油電複合動力和渦輪增壓版本的Sonata將陸續於今年和明年在北美市場推出，未來也計畫將在中國和其他國家市場上市。
