隨著2010年的結束，各大車廠似乎也漸漸走出能源危機、金融海嘯的陰霾；在銷售數字亮眼的同時，也不吝於推出讓人驚艷的全新車款。根據專業汽車媒體Cars.com針對所有2011年式車的評選結果，Optima Hybrid打敗眾多強敵，贏得2011年最佳車款頭銜；在節能環保已成車壇顯學的當下，Optima Hybrid更以極佳的油耗表現擄獲評審的心！
Optima與HYUNDAI Sonata在集團資源整合下，動力來源方面自然與Sonata Hybrid大同小異，搭載輸出166hp/21.32kgm的Theta II 2.4L GDI直四缸內直噴汽油引擎，與輸出40hp/20.9kgm的電動馬達結合成TMED Hybrid油電複合動力系統，搭配六速手自排變速箱，總計可輸出206hp/27.03kgm最大動力。
0-100km/h加速有9.2秒的表現，極速更達195km/h。並創造出市區15.23 km/L、高速16.92 km/L、平均16.07km/L的優異油耗表現。
或許拿它來跟CHEVROLET電動車Volt，或NISSAN Leaf相提並論不盡公平；但根據Cars.com表示，以消費者角度來看，終究傾向選擇中大型房車；而Optima車系除了有平時的價格，成熟穩重卻又不失科技動感的外觀可說是超值選擇！因此在同項評選中打敗BMW當家中大型房車5 Series、CHEVROLET戰略車Cruze和Volt、HONDA Odyssey以及NISSAN Leaf或許也就不那麼令人意外吧！
