HYUNDAI ix35雙料入囊，榮獲NCAP、IIHS最高安全肯定

以全新「流體雕塑」設計概念在2010年於台灣市場誕生的ix35，問世後即獲得的無數消費者的肯定，在銷售上屢創佳績。除了超越同級距的科技配備及成功的訂價策略外，ix35真正展現出HYUNDAI於品質及設計上的精進，完全打破國人既有對韓系車款的刻板印象，不僅拿下2010年「年度風雲車」及「最佳國產SUV」兩項大獎，更在歐洲NCAP與美國IIHS測試中獲得最高安全評價。
EURO NCAP撞擊測試五星評價
歐洲最具公信力的汽車安全測試機構Euro-NCAP，於2010年8月25日公布的車輛撞擊測試結果，包括HONDA CR-Z、HYUNDA ix35、SUZUKI Swift與CITROEN C4 等四款車都拿到五顆星的最佳評等。其中ix35更是目前國內唯一引進販售的車型，其安全表現值得國內車主參考。
Euro NCAP所測車型為歐洲市場所販售的ix35 2.0，配備有雙前座輔助氣囊、前座安全帶預縮及束力限制、車側氣囊、車側氣簾及ESP電子車身穩定系統等安全配備。就成人乘員防護方面，正面撞擊下ix35能有效保護前座乘員的膝部及骨盆等處，側面撞擊的防護表現同樣良好；同時，主動式防護頭枕的設計，在追撞測試下也能避免甩鞭效應對乘員頸部造成的傷害。兒童防護部份，假人所測得的衝擊力道數據仍在安全範圍之內。此外，包括兒童安全座椅的使用警示標籤、前乘客座輔助氣囊開關等相關標示和配備也一應俱全，讓ix35車主能夠充份瞭解兒童安全座椅的使用步驟和規範。
除了安全的車體防護外，ix35所搭配的ESP電子車身穩定系統，有助於減少駕駛人犯錯的機會，並且根據統計能夠有效減少事故意外的發生，而且ESP這項配備在歐洲已規定必須成為2012年以後所以新款車輛的標準配備。可見ix35現有的設計，早已符合歐洲市場更加嚴格的規範，更成為國內安全配備的全新指標。
IIHS最佳安全首選
據美國IIHS公路安全保險協會的2010碰撞測試年度報告顯示，在SUV碰撞測試結果中，ix35於正面撞擊、側面撞擊、車頂強度和後部撞擊/頭部安全裝置四項測試中，全部獲得了最高的G（優秀）級評價，而競爭對手TOYOTA RAV4、HONDA CR-V表現則略遜一籌，兩者的車頂強度分別只得到了A（能接受）級和M（及格）級的評價。
「ix35在正面、側面、背面碰撞以及電子穩定控制系統測試中以優異的成績位居榜首，所搭配的ESP電子穩定控制系統更可以顯著降低翻車事故的發生」，IIHS在發佈的報告中表示，「另外ix35的電子穩定控制系統也明顯優於RAV4及CR-V。因此獲得TOP SAFETY PICK的榮耀，象徵HYUNDAI在車身安全的追求上所獲得的實質肯定。」
HYUNDAI ix35同時獲得國外專業機構的推薦與肯定，並在2010年一上市就造成市場熱銷，也讓HYUNDAI在歐洲首度超越TOYOTA，難怪許多競爭車種都對ix35抱著敬畏三分的態度。
