體諒員工？穩固品質？鄭夢九命令HYUNDAI集團高層停止週末加班

根據韓國媒體體的消息指出，由於HYUNDAI汽車集團近來表現突出，因此部分高層主管為了把握市場契機，並且在業務壓力的要求之下，常常在週末時間仍然進行加班，而集團董事長鄭夢九在瞭解此一情況之後，下達命令要求停止加班超時工作的狀況。
報導中指出，鄭夢九在集團高階主管的會議中說明：「HYUNDAI汽車集團高管必須要有充分的休息時間恢復精力，只有得到充分的休整，HYUNDAI汽車集團才能真正成為一個全球性公司，並且從現在起，我本人（鄭夢九）在週末假日也將儘可能的減少進入辦公室的機會。」
事實上，從2003年開始韓國政府便開始鼓勵各大型企業員工必須擁有完整的週末休息時間，但軟性的勸導並沒有發揮明顯的成效，而在面全球化的競爭之中，韓國大型企業的超時加班已逐漸成為文化。而鄭夢九的命令雖然已經下達，但是HYUNDAI汽車集團的高階主管仍然達成每三週進行一次週六加班的共識。
而根據Autonet汽車日報的瞭解，日前亦有傳言指出HYUNDAI汽車集團並不急於快速的進行擴張，因為有鑑於TOYOTA集團在坐上全球第一的龍頭寶座之後，便立即受到品質不夠穩定的瑕疵問題，而痛苦面臨全球性召回的大風暴，因此HYUNDAI集團目前在穩坐全球第四大汽車集團的地位之後，當務之急就是要確保品質、站穩腳步，才能夠再向前邁進、突破，所以鄭夢九下達減少高層主管加班的命令，或許也帶有些許這樣的想法與含意在內吧？
