流線運動設計，歐規HYUNDAI i20掀背小車登場

於2008年巴黎車展發表的小型掀背車i20，上市時便以環保及省油作為進攻歐洲市場的賣點，也成功了打進全球超過25個國家的市場。繼2010年中的小改款i20之後，於今年3月的2012日內瓦車展中再推出全新世代車型，不僅在車頭造型部分作出修改，並導入了新世代i30的設計風格，讓i20更具新潮設計之感。
歐規改款i20採用Fuluidic Scalpture流體雕塑設計理念，前保桿、車燈和霧燈造型巧妙融合在一起，車燈和霧燈更以鯊魚眼方式來呈現，車燈明顯銳化引擎蓋上的摺痕更加明顯，水箱護罩採用大六角造型加上線條元素，整體看來更具流線運動氣息。
動力部分，改款i20搭載1.1L直列三缸CRDi柴油引擎，具備75hp最大馬力，讓二氧化碳排放量達到84g/km；以及一具1.2L汽油引擎，擁有85hp最大馬力；另外還有一具1.4L直列四缸CRDi柴油引擎，有著90hp最大馬力，而其二氧化碳排放量則為98g/km。此外，結合旗下最新的Blue Drive科技，包括Intelligent Stop & Go引擎怠速熄火系統、低滾動阻力輪胎、後方車底導流板等，同時也讓節能表現更為優異。
根據AutoNet汽車日報實際詢問台灣總代理南陽實業表示，目前並無導入i20進入台灣的計畫，因此國內車迷可能無緣一親芳澤了。
