    滿足美國市場需求,HYUNDAI確認增產第三代Tucson/ix35

都會休旅車的銷售熱潮不斷升高,2015年3月中韓國HYUNDAI汽車才考慮擴建位於美國Alabama的車輛生產基地,新增休旅車產線來降低生產成本與運送費用。不過現在HYUNDAI轉向決議,全新第三代Tucson(台灣市場稱ix35),仍繼續以韓國當地生產並供應美國市場的銷售方式,再提高生產總額來滿足市場需求。

2015年日內瓦車展上HYUNDAI發表第三代Tucson,在新設計語彙導入的妝扮下,不僅讓這款都會SUV的外貌更動感,線條也更銳利化。而近期,無論是歐洲還是日本車廠等,都增資挹注美國或墨西哥的生產基地設備,並以SUV車型為首目標美國市場而來。這也讓HYUNDAI考慮將中型Santa Fe、都會Tucson休旅車移師到美國生產。

不過現在HYUNDAI經過多方考量後,決定還是將新Tucson續留在韓國當地生產,且HYUNDAI公會還承諾會增加韓國蔚山二廠來生產新Tucson,並繳出年產能5萬輛的表現。而這數字可是過往蔚山一廠所無法達到的。至於新Tucson已經在2015年3月於韓國當地開始銷售,5月起更會陸續導入澳洲、美國、亞洲等其它市場。

因此新Tucson的供應順暢度,對HYUNDAI來說相當重要,預料原本蔚山一廠以及二廠增加的生產總額,可以讓美國市場的Tucson銷量提升一倍之多。但這只不過暫時性的做法,面對美國市場,HYUNDAI仍需要一條專屬產線來對應才是。因為剛提到的美國Alabama廠,其實只有負責生產Sonata以及Elantra兩款車,絕對還有相當寬裕的提升空間。
