根據路透社的報導指稱,現代汽車(Hyundai)_與其附屬的子公司KIA,為當今全球車市銷售量第3大的汽車製造廠,起7 月至 9 月的營業利潤為 3.6 兆韓元(相當於新台幣916億),而去年同期的利潤為 3.8 兆韓元(相當於新台幣967億)。

現代汽車集團營收下滑,主要是受到品牌在美國 的Santa Fe 休旅車引擎保固維修的成本高達 3200 億韓元(相當於新台幣81億)的影響,加上全球汽車需求放緩,而為促銷售增加而追加更多的促銷激勵措施。然而,現代汽車仍維持其 2024 年的目標,即今年實現 8% 至 9% 的營業獲利率。現代汽車公佈今年 1 月至 9 月的營業獲利率為 8.9%。現代汽車的股價周四延續跌勢,在財報公佈後下跌 3.7%。
