紅火！HYUNDAI Tucson奪得加拿大年度風雲Crossover汽車獎項

剛剛在去年夏季於北美汽車市場發售的HYUNDAI Tucson新品種多功能休旅車款，獲得由加拿大汽車專業媒體共同組織組成的AJAC（Automobile Journalist Association of Canada）選定為最佳跨界新型態休旅車（Best New Crossover）的年度風雲首獎，不但展現了Tucson作為一輛新型態Crossover休旅車款，在當地汽車消費市場所引領的地位，並且擊敗包括NISSAN X-Trail、FORD Freestyle、CHEVROLET Equinox等實力強勁的對手！
AJAC在去年底正式公布這個獎項，代表出席頒獎典禮的是HYUNDAI加拿大分公司（HAC-HYUNDAI Auto Canada）總裁Steve Kelleher，主辦單位表示Tucson在市場上的出現，影響了消費者對於購車決策的思考方式，同時也代表HYUNDAI對於消費者行動需求的掌握，推出更符合市場需求與21世紀行動生活的產品。
Steve Kelleher表示，近幾年來HYUNDAI品牌在北美汽車市場的表現有目共睹，不斷創下成長新高的市場佔有率，也是對於HYUNDAI產品開發的能力最大的肯定，愈來愈多加拿大的消費者在購買HYUNDAI產品的同時，也同時感受到原廠旺盛的產品開發能力，以及洞悉消費需求的高敏感度。
從去年九月份正式在加拿大市場發售以來，HYUNDAI Tucson在上市當月就擁有達到4186輛的新車掛牌成績，更證明了HYUNDAI獨到的眼光，已經受到廣大加拿大汽車消費者的共鳴，同時也讓同一時期HYUDNAI品牌的新車掛牌數量倍增。
AJAC（Automobile Journalist Association of Canada）這個組織，由六十位加拿大當地的汽車專業媒體記者所組成，每年十月AJAC便會啟動年度風雲車款選拔的活動，除了新車本質的表現之外，AJAC更關心的是新車推出之後，對於消費者汽車購買文化的影響與演變。
在2005年的加拿大年度風雲汽車大獎中，AJAC總共選出12個領域共65輛新車獲獎，而 2005年的風雲經濟型房車的首獎得主是KIA Spectra，風雲家庭房車為MAZDA6，風雲大型豪華房車的得主為CHRYSLER 300C。
