2011底特律車展搶先報：冤家路窄！CHEVROLET Volt、NISSAN Leaf再對決北美風雲車大獎

Volt目前美國境內的評選幾乎是所向披靡、未嘗敗績。
|
節能減碳的風潮已經成為車壇的顯學，因此近來各界所評選的2011年風雲車款，幾乎都是由擁有替代能源技術的車款所出線角逐，而其中又以CHEVROLET Volt與NISSAN Leaf兩款車型的呼聲最高，幾乎全球各主要地區的風雲車款，都有這兩款車型來同時進行角逐。

Lea挾著歐洲風雲車的氣勢，再搶北美風雲車的頭銜。

例如不約而同在11月間公布風雲車票選結果的Motor Trend與AUTOMOBILE兩家美國雜誌，就出現了力挺自家人的限向，兩家雜誌一致的票選CHEVROLET Volt拿下2011年風雲車大獎的殊榮，而且在洛杉磯車展時所公布的Green Car of the Year「年度風雲綠能車款」，也在Green Car Journal雜誌的評鑑下，由力挺自家人的限向，兩家雜誌一致的票選CHEVROLET Volt再度勝出，讓NISSAN Leaf著實不是滋味。
但是只要一旦出了美國境內，輿論的好評立即導向NISSAN Leaf的這一邊，例如在11月底揭曉、備受各界矚目的歐洲年度風雲車，便由NISSAN Leaf擊敗了其它歐洲群雄所獲得，也彰顯出替代能源車款備受矚目的趨勢與好評。
如今，在每年一月於底特律所舉行的北美國際車展又將再度展開，會場中除了有著許多新穎車款的登場亮相外，還有一個相當受到重視的項目就是要公布2011年度的北美風雲車款，而目前在Car of The Year的部分，已經確定將由CHEVROLET Volt、HYUNDAI Sonata與NISSAN Leaf來角逐此一殊榮，讓這兩款劃時代的替代能源車型又再度硬碰硬的上演對決戲碼，而Sonata雖然沒有太多科技層面上的話題，但是出眾的外型設計與良好的市場反應，也許將有機會扮演半路殺出程咬金的角色。
而在Truck of the Year的部分則由JEEP Grand Cherokee、FORD Explorer與DODGE Durango三款車型來角逐，或許國人對於這三款車型都頗為陌生，但是對於北美市場來說，其市場銷售規模恐怕都要遠比一般乘用車款要來的更為龐大許多。
