久候多時終有譜,HYUNDAI Veloster渦輪上身第四季發表!

打從首度登台亮相至今已有約兩年時間的Veloster,如今引進台灣的規格終於定案,原本自然進氣的規劃因魅力不足改以渦輪增壓取代,並預計在2013年第四季發表,這也讓本地性能迷又多了項選擇。
有鑒於市場的供需問題,一開始HYUNDAI總代理在評估Veloster引進時,是以自然進氣動力為優先,然而Veloster雖有著獨特搶眼的外觀造型,以及特殊的四門掀背設計,但自然進氣的動力輸出卻差強人意,其所搭載的1.6L直列四缸直噴汽油引擎,可輸出132hp/6300rpm馬力與16.1kgm/4850rpm扭力,在帳面數字並沒有誘人之處,反觀,Gamma 1.6 T-GDI直列四缸渦輪增壓汽油引擎,在導入雙渦流增壓、缸內直噴、雙CVVT可變氣門正時等技術後,獲得204hp/6000rpm馬力與27.0kgm/1750rpm扭力,單這72hp/10.9kgm的功率差別就增添不少魅力。同時,雖市場仍以一般大眾用車為主流,但近年追求樂趣操控和性能的產品也有增溫趨勢,因此在重新評估後決定捨棄價格導向的自然進氣,改以偏重買家需求的渦輪增壓取代。
擁有4220×1790×1399mm車身和1230kg車重的Veloster,自然進氣和渦輪增壓都採用相同的結構,但為了突顯渦輪增壓的定位,全車賦予空力套件,引擎蓋採用導風孔設計,中置雙出排氣尾管更列為標準配備,此外充滿高戰鬥氣息的車艙,兩張桶型賽車座椅和跑車化元素,都彰顯渦輪增壓不凡的特質。基於台灣用車環境,Veloster渦輪增壓確定採用六速手自排變速箱,雖說沒有手排的換檔樂趣,卻也帶來更便利的駕馭效果。
所以第四季(推測約在11-12月份左右)Veloster渦輪增壓正式在台灣發表後,將直接挑戰VW Golf GTI/Scirocco、PEUGEOT 208 GTi,間接迎戰TOYOTA 86、SUBARU BRZ甚至NISSAN Juke等這些強調樂趣、美學、獨特性的車款,只是充滿賣點的Veloster,身價可能會落在約130-150萬元之間(或者更高),如此的價格能否讓消費者心動,或許就等正式發表後的策略而定。
