口味不合？HYUNDAI在英國市場無預警停售Veloster

近年來隨著個性小跑車興起，無論前驅、後驅許多車廠紛紛開發出符合市場需求的產品，韓國HYUNDAI在2011年美國底特律車展發表Veloster，以相當特殊的2+1三門掀背設計，匹配Fluidic Sculpture（流體雕塑）的前衛設計，一登場就吸引許多人目光，並隨後從美國、韓國、歐洲等地開始銷售。只是英國市場卻在日前傳出停售的消息。

雖然歐洲HYUNDAI沒有進一步證實，但是英國HYUNDAI網站上現行確實找不到Veloster車款介紹的網頁。而從Veloster問世到現在，算一算也不過三年時間，若真的就這樣退出歐洲市場，確實有些可惜。不過還好從德國、法國以及西班牙等原廠網站中，仍能看見Veloster（Veloster Turbo）的蹤跡，看來應該只是針對區域性的銷售策略調整。

而為了滿足市場需求，Veloster除了有搭載Gamma 1.6L GDi汽油引擎的版本外（138hp、17.0kgm），在2012年底特律車展上更推出1.6L T-GDi渦輪增壓引擎的Veloster Turbo，最大馬力來到208hp、峰值扭力更有27.0kgm，不過歐洲市場則調降為183hp，但在六速手排的驅策下仍有8.4秒完成0-100km/h加速的能耐。相信這樣的性能表現在英國市場，應該會受到年輕族群的青睞才是。

雖然Veloster無預警在英國停售，不過非常恰巧的是，日前HYUNDAI才剛發表小改款i30，除了外觀上的改變外，更加入1.6L T-GDi渦輪增壓引擎的可選，而此具引擎也就是Veloster Turbo所搭載的動力，在相同設定下依然具備183hp最大馬力以及17.0kgm峰值扭力輸出，或許是i30更實用的標準掀背設定，才讓英國HYUNDAI決定改變車型銷售陣容。
