    超玩美酷跑的極限進化,中置引擎版HYUNDAI Veloster將現身釜山車展

HYUNDAI Veloster以「2+1」的獨特車身型式顛覆了我們對於小跑車的刻板印象,但前置引擎、前輪驅動這種先天上在駕駛樂趣略顯不足的配置卻也讓Veloster顯得有點美中不足。為了不浪費Veloster充滿個性的掀背跑車外型,HYUNDAI在今年的韓國釜山車展再度顛覆我們的既有認知,推出了中置引擎版本的Veloster概念車。

利用了Veloster原有的後座空間,將引擎位置從車頭移至駕駛座後方,並且驅動方式由原本的前輪驅動,理所當然的隨著引擎位置轉變成後輪驅動。中置後驅的Veloster儼然具備了超級跑車的基本架構,為了因應大幅度的底盤結構改變,懸吊系統也利用鋁合金部件作出相對應的強化與提升,Veloster短捷的車身與貼近四個角落的輪胎成為了高超操控極限的保證。

這輛MR版本的Veloster所搭載的引擎也並非原先頂級版本的1.6L渦輪增壓引擎,而採用了2.0L Theta GDI渦輪增壓引擎。根據推測,這顆引擎在經過調教後將會有將近300hp的馬力輸出,對於操控實力大幅進化的MR版Veloster來說肯定是樂趣十足。

可惜的是,根據催生這輛Veloster的團隊HYUNDAI High Performance Team表示,這項中置引擎計劃僅僅做為展示HYUNDAI實力與Veloster底盤的發展潛力,目前並沒有相關MR跑車的發展計劃。不過在HONDA S2000確定將採用中置引擎的配置後,也許HYUNDAI也將會有興趣來MR一下。
