    第二春?HYUNDAI Santro不停產將轉進印度農村市場…

我們曾經報導過,HYUNDAI位於印度的整車廠,早就已經成為小型車的製造中心,而全新世代的都會小車HYUNDAI i10車系業已在當地投產,除供應印度當地市場銷售之外,這款新車同時外銷至包括歐洲與韓國本土銷售….

HYUNDAI i10
當初發表i10新世代都會小車的同時,其實HYUNDAI並未言明原本用以取代的Santro車系是否停產,事實上印度當地稱為Santro的這款新車,在歐洲市場曾經以Atoz與Amica之名銷售,但歐洲市場目前已經全面導入HYUNDAI i10全面取代原有的Atoz-Amica車系,但其實這款新車在位於印度的HYUNDAI整車廠仍在產銷狀態,不過行銷策略已經與先前大不相同。

由於TATA推出平價小車Nano衝擊全球車壇,也讓許多印度與來自海外的業者,紛紛表示將推出競品,包括HYUNDAI在內,但在針對開發中市場的全新世代平價小車問世之前,該品牌已經悄悄地讓Santro以更具競爭優勢的售價進軍廣大的印度農村市場。

這項促銷活動在印度農村稱為Ghar Ghar Ki Pehchaan,HYUNDAI下一階段將持續以Santro小車為標的,由當地各經銷商與當地銀行合作,以提供更優惠的條件讓中低收入家庭可以購得Santro小車,由於印度農業人口擁有達七成的高比例,這些居住在廣大農村的居民,在當地新富階級興起後,被視為是下一波印度經濟成長的重要力量,HYUNDAI也希望藉由更靈活的行銷手段,讓目前居當地第二位的市場佔有率可以進一步提升,目標是成為印度當地最大的汽車品牌。
